Hi, I'm a square!
I’m not so rare
And surely not scarier than a bear
You can find me all around
Maybe even on the ground
All my sides are the same length
I might not be that strong
But I show some strength
Maybe I am wrong,
Maybe I am right
I am definitely not a rhombus
And definitely not a kite
But surely, a square.uare by:SC

Snowy Night by SC
I walk around,
And it is dark
All I can hear is the howls and barks
I walk around on sticks and stones
Just please don't break my toes
The trees are shadowy figures
This might just be a thriller
I don't have much food
And I’m not in the mood
I cannot find my path
I can hear a howling pack
The wind is strong tonight
Oh boy, is it my biggest fright
But here it is,
A snowy night!
And it is dark
All I can hear is the howls and barks
I walk around on sticks and stones
Just please don't break my toes
The trees are shadowy figures
This might just be a thriller
I don't have much food
And I’m not in the mood

But here it is,
A snowy night!
School Is Boring by SC
Everyday, us kids have to go to school, also known as the, “Prison,” a place where you are stuck for 7 hours and learn boring stuff.
You get back-packs only for a lunch box or nothing.
When you get nothing, you have to deal with the crappy school lunch. For 9 and ½ months, we are stuck in school.
Teachers can be mean and unwelcoming, and force you to do things you don't want to do! Some are nice though, but that still doesn’t make a difference, because you still can't do the stuff you would normally do.
Not only are most of the teachers unwelcoming, so can the kids! They can toss you around like a toy, say mean things to your face, fake-friend you, frame you, and maybe even beat you up! You have to deal with them for 7 hours! Sometimes, you're not the only one, kids in your class can do things that the whole class would get in trouble for! School is something.

Fish by SC
I roam around in the ocean seas’, calmly, enjoying the sun burning on my skin, watching the waves moving around my body. Other fish are swimming around playfully. I decided to join some of them. We hide in coral watching other kinds of breads swim. We are in the gulf course of mexico.
Soon, we see a fishing rod with a worm on it, and we all race toward it. Luckily, I was the last, because the other fish disappeared.
I started swimming away until I found a scuba-diver. Me and the other fish formed a group to protect each other, we watched as he/she shine something bright at us. We all scatter when we see it.
Then something floated above me. It was loud and had a spinny-thing running under it. I was curious. I saw another rod and knew not to go near it after what happened. I can't help it, I really want the worm… so I ended up racing toward it as fast as I could and felt something sharp go in my mouth. I get tugged and tugged until I see the top of the ocean. There was so much going on. There at the top of the spinny-thing, there, a creature stood holding the fishing rod. I saw him look at me. He kept tugging. I kept squirming, squirming so much that I finally dropped back into the water. I heard the creature groan really loudly.
I was so tired, I felt like I was gonna pass out. Things around me were getting blurry. I saw other fish swarm me like I was going to die. I kept on gasping for air constantly. I tried to keep my eyes open for as long as I could. Then, I lost all my stamina, and passed out.
Another fish's perspective: I watched as that one fish fell to the ground. All the other fish started to surround him. As they did, I went to look for anything that could help. As I wandered off, I found something I have never seen before.
I went to touch it, but when I did, it was hard. So I decided I would lift it. It was very heavy, but I used all my might to do so. It was very heavy, but because it was so hard to lift, I had to hold onto it tightly. So when I did that, it started making a crunching noise. I started to drag it up to the surface.
There was a weird spinny-thing. I saw something moving on it, and it was holding the exact same thing I was holding. It seemed to have water in it. They started to drink out of it. I saw him do it but I was getting too tired, so I went to the bottom of the ocean. I was thirsty, so I decided to drink out of it. But then, I started choking. Many bubbles were rising towards the surface. I fell to the ground and heard a big, “thud!”
Back to the main fish's perspective: as I finally woke up, I was very tired. All the fish were swarming me like crazy until they looked at me. They just stared. When I got up and started moving, they followed me. Then, when I turned around, they started looking into the distance and then swam as fast as they could. I turned around to see it and then, a shark came and killed me.
The End.

The Stick's Fault by SC
Once, when I was 4, I was playing at the park with my friends. Hours later… I had to go home for lunch. I came back and we were having a great time! One hour later… I had to go to soccer practice.
But on my way home, I saw this really cool stick. I picked it up, but my dad told me to put it back down. So I did. After that, I begged my mom to go outside once more. She said, “Fine. You can go, once more. But remember, do not- I mean it- do not look down when you run, ok?” “Ok.” I said. I wasn’t really paying attention so I sprinted outside. I was looking down while running trying to find the stick.
Then! I bumped my chin on the bench and my whole mouth started to bleed. One man went to get my parents and my mom came. I was coughing way too much blood. My thumb also got fractured. I was rushed over to the ER. A Lot happened after that.
I came back home to find out that I had officially lost my two front teeth. The dentists had to remove my teeth so my gums wouldn't get infected.
Also, they did surgery on my right thumb. All my yearbook pictures looked horrible. I really hated them. I also had a hard time writing because of my right thumb. I lost my front teeth for about four years!
I could literally only eat cereal, muffins, milk, and more varieties of soft foods. It was really hard for me for the first few months. After that, I had to adjust. Looking at all those potato chips. They smelled and looked so good.
After four years though, they finally came. I looked normal, ate normal, and yeah. I really hate that stick. It prevented me from eating potato chips. I mean, my mom did tell me not to look down while running. Still, I am very mad at that stick. But that's something I learned the hard way.

Rain by SC
I am sitting in my bed and it is raining.
I wish I could go outside and be playing.
I wish the sun was out,
I could scream and shout.
I feel so lonely,
And it is so boring.
I wish I could feel the sun,
But I am currently snoring.
Sometimes, I feel alive,
But right now is not the time.
I wish I could sleep it through,
But that’s not true.
So here I am sitting in bed…
I wish I could go outside and be playing.
I wish the sun was out,
I could scream and shout.
I feel so lonely,
And it is so boring.
I wish I could feel the sun,
But I am currently snoring.
Sometimes, I feel alive,
But right now is not the time.
I wish I could sleep it through,
But that’s not true.
So here I am sitting in bed…
CAT WRECKS THE TWIN TOWER (New York Government isn't happy) by SC
Once upon a time there was a cat living in John’s house in the streets of New York city, Honeybrook Avenue. As John was at work, the cat was all alone sleeping. “NWAAAAA” says the cat. “MEOW!!!!” The cat was hungry. He got mad. He wanted food. He wanted it. He grew taller by the minute. His head tore through the roof! Cars stopping at the sight of a cat growing to about the height of 2000 feet tall!!! The news was blowing up saying things like, “CAT GREW 2000 FEET TALL!”, or, “EVERYONE EVACUATE THE CITY: HONEYBROOK HAS ITS 2000 FOOT TALL CAT!!!!”
Meanwhile at John’s work. John was drinking his tea, typing on his computer, and enjoying his life until… HE FORGOT TO FEED HIS CAT!!!!
His computer was blowing up with notifications about the big cat! Then he hears thumping, really loud thumping. “THUMP, THUMP, THUMP!” He looks out the window to see his cat at his max! People all around town are screaming and it's chaos! The cat was marching its way to the twin towers! John ran out of the building and to his car to see the car was broken.
He doesn’t have much time to think. So he runs as fast as he can to the grocery store to get cat food. He goes and runs around and around and around until he finally spots one! He goes inside to the pet food aisle and gets what he needs. There is no cashier there so he runs out without paying. In such a hurry, he calls out the cat's name multiple times telling the cat that he has food.
He spots the giant but it's too late… the cat broke the twin towers!!! Everything is in ruins and John feels as if the guiltiest person on earth for not feeding his cat. He is in tears as everything is crumbling. He gets really mad too. So mad that he screams his cat's name so loud the cat finally turns to him. He is in shock. But now, it's time to do what he always wanted to do, “SUPPER TIME!” The cat runs to him and John opens the bag of cat food. The cat bends down for the food and eats the whole thing in one bite. The cat shrinks back to normal as if he was innocent. John was the hero of the town. The next day the news is blowing up about John Cory saving Honeybrook! So kids, the morale of the story is to always feed your cats!
